Change the Time Zone in Webmail

This article describes how to change time zone settings in the Horde, Roundcube, an’d SquirrelMail webmail clients.

By default, webmail applications use the host server’s time zone. If you are in a different time zone, you can change this default. The exact steps to do this depend on the webmail application you are using. After you change the time zone setting, the interface displays timestamps in the new time zone the next time you log in to webmail.

Follow the appropriate procedure below to change the time zone setting for your webmail application.

A. Horde

To change the time zone in Horde, follow these steps:

1. Log in to Horde

2. In the left-hand pane, click Options \”Gear Icon\”

3. Click Preferences > Global Preferences

4. Under Your Information, click Locale and Time

5. Select your time zone, by default set is Server Default settings. You can choose here own time zone by clicking drop down list

6. Set here your own country zone

7. Click Save button to take changes effects

 



B. Roundcube

To change the time zone in Roundcube, follow these steps:

1. Log in to Roundcube

2. Click Settings with Gear Icon.

3. Click User Interface

4. Select your Time Zone, by default set is Server Default settings. You can choose here own time zone by clicking drop down list

5. Choose here own time zone by clicking drop down list

6. Click Save button to take changes effects

 



C. SquirrelMail

To change the time zone in SquirrelMail, follow these steps:

1. Log in to SquirrelMail

2. Click Options

3. Click Personal Information

4. Under Timezone Options

5. Choose here own Timezone by clicking drop down list

6. After Selected Timezone options, Click Save button to take changes effects
